Dear Readers,
Do you believe in luck? Whether happenstance, serendipity or making the best of a situation, good fortune will find you if you’ve put in some hard work and have the right frame of mind.
I count the little things: a propitious copper penny found on my path to the studio, a random tweet from a reader about precisely the topic I’m researching, happy coincidences between articles and artwork filed by my contributors… And then there are the more significant manifestations of good fortune: meeting amazing people and experiencing new places in service of UPPERCASE, a healthy list of enthusiastic subscribers and growing distribution around the world with new stockists large and small.
