The people featured in UPPERCASE are like-minded souls, those of us who like to stay up late and make stuff. Those of us who like to make messes and see what comes out of it all. People who are trying to make a mark with something hand-wrought, something individual, something unique, perhaps with wit and fun involved too. People who like a beautifully laid out page of type, or a bunch of witty illustrations that just captures an idea so eloquently. People who want to start a creative business doing what they love, sending their thoughtful work out into the world. These are my friends or people with whom I'd like to be friends.
