Other loose themes we explored in gathering content for this issue were interpretations of fragility, transparency and ephemerality. From the fleeting beauty of scent to the delicate mechanics of a butterfly wing to the wondrous properties of glass, we learn that things that might appear breakable or temporary are, in fact, powerfully enduring.
