Trained as a graphic designer at the University of Alberta, Vikki Wiercinski soon got bored of designing websites for oil companies and picked up her pens and colouring pencils to produce more beautiful, tactile and delightful work on her own terms. Once upon a time she saw some fabric samples from Marimekko and her world has never been the same since. She creates inviting, joyful, eye-catching and colourful patterns and motifs, often involving typography and custom lettering, and applies them to everything she can get her hands on.
