Look at these photos by Danielle (Waltzing Ghost) and Jose! During the design phase of the first issue, in a random happy flickr moment, I came across this photo of Danielle in Bubblegum Alley, taken by her husband Jose. I loved her pose, the balloons, the bubblegum and how it related to our front cover illustration. It's the parting shot in issue 1 in the "souvenir" section, which is perforated so that you can easily remove the page and hang it up for inspiration.
