The "Blog Beautiful" feature is something that started with the first issue of the magazine in which I profiled Perfectbound (we miss your blog!) The tradition has been that the person of the profiled blog selects the next blog beautiful, in reference to the "link love" that makes the blogosphere such an interesting and connected place. In our current issue #5, Lisa Solomon profiles Gwen Shlichta of Bugheart.

Here's a shot (below) that Gwen took of her article, along with some of my favourites from her Etsy shop Jenny Penny Vintage. Gwen's an entomologist as well as being a photographer and all-round creative person. You can see her love of the scientific in the objects available in her vintage shop.
